As a solo practitioner, Kalonda emphasizes quality over quantity, deliberately maintaining a limited client roster to ensure every individual receives her full, focused attention in a warm, non-clinical setting designed to feel welcoming and safe.

Kalonda’s unique professional journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, followed by a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Alabama. Her career also includes her role as business manager at VSI Unlimited, a human performance facility in Huntsville, AL, a position that expanded her insight into human potential, performance, and resilience.

Balancing her roles as a wife, mother, and counselor, Kalonda brings a relatable, grounded perspective to her work, helping clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.
