Our Host: Robert Trent Jones Hampton Cove Highlands Course

We are proud to host the 2nd Annual KJImpact Charity Golf Tournament at the renowned Robert Trent Jones Hampton Cove Highlands Course. Located in Owens Crossroads, Alabama, this course is a true masterpiece of golf course design. With scenic vistas of the northern Alabama landscape, the Highlands course has a blend of tree-lined and links-style holes. An old mule barn just off the fairway on the fifth hole is one of the more recognizable landmarks on the Trail and will punish a second shot that leaks short and right. Creeks or ponds are in play on 13 holes, including on the 16th and 17th, a strong par-3 and par-5 combo where the approach shots must be precise to avoid water lurking short and right.

Dress Code:

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all, please adhere to the Hampton Cove River Course dress code:

Men: Collared shirts are required. Bermuda length shorts or golf-specific shorts are permitted. Golf shoes (spikeless) must be worn. T-shirts, sweatpants, running shorts, tank tops, and cut-off shorts are prohibited. Denim is permitted.
Women: Golf-specific attire designed for golf is required. Sleeveless shirts must have a collar. Leggings and golf-specific tights are allowed. Golf shoes (spikeless) must be worn.
Sweatshirts in good repair and without offensive language or logos are permitted on the course and in the clubhouse.

The course is just off US‑431 (also signed as Governor’s Drive/Memorial Parkway) southeast of Huntsville; you turn onto Old Hwy 431 and then follow signs into the golf trail entrance.
Once on Old Hwy 431, the entrance to the RTJ Golf Trail at Hampton Cove is about 0.8–1.0 mile ahead on the right, then follow the road to the clubhouse.

From Huntsville area

Take US‑231/US‑431 South (Memorial Parkway) toward Owens Cross Roads.
Continue on US‑431 (Governor’s Drive) for about 9 miles, then turn left onto Old Hwy 431.
Drive roughly 1 mile and turn right into the RTJ Golf Trail at Hampton Cove entrance, then follow signs to the clubhouse.
